Certo dia, quando cheguei da aula, me deparei com um objeto muito estranho. Fiquei parado por um longo tempo diante dele, tentando descobrir o que era. Corri apressadamente pelos corredores de minha casa, procurando alguém que pudesse me explicar o que era aquilo, mas não havia ninguém em casa.

Tempo depois, voltei para vê-lo, mas dessa vez de perto. Percebi que possuía uma característica em comum com o meu computador, o teclado. Com isso, pude concluir que esse objeto tinha algo a ver com a escrita. Também possuía um compartimento grande na parte de trás, com alguns botões e outros trecos que eu não soube o que era. Não consegui reter minha curiosidade e comecei a mexer. Gostei e, não quis mais largá-la.

Meu pai chegou e fui logo perguntando o que era. Falou um nome muito estranho: máquina de datilografar e confirmou a minha conclusão sobre a semelhança com o computador. Também revelou que era o “computador” antigo e servia para escrever. Fiquei admirado e até pedi ela para mim.
